On Chanel4U.com, 20 counterfeit 
Chanel rings, described as “cheap and discounted,” were sold here with pricing ranging from $52.85 - $54.98 USD. The replica Chanel rings being sold were low quality fakes.
In order to attempt to appeal to the feminine buyer, the online store described the rings as a means to connect with the glamour, elegance and luxury that is associated with the history of Chanel. Far from Chanel’s tradition of glamour and luxury, the rings being sold were actually replicas of substandard quality and not genuine Chanel.
That the Chanel4U.com rings were not authentic Chanel was problematic in itself, but Chanel4U.com purposely tried to dazzle the customer by describing the rings as cheaply or discount priced, while they were in reality low-grade counterfeits.
The counterfeit rings that were on sale were fabricated by illegal enterprises run by unscrupulous dishonest entities. Such rings were constructed by using unauthenticated, unchecked metals and gems. The wearers of counterfeit rings had no way of knowing what metallic or chemical substances their hands may have come into contact with. The costs to the buyer were much higher than the actual value of the materials used in the rings.
The only way that consumers can ensure that they are getting genuine Chanel rings is to get them directly from Chanel or an authorized Chanel retailer only.
